Fry Rosalie Kingsmill

Rosalie Fry was a prolific author and illustrator of children’s books. The following are all pen and ink illustrations on Bristol board by Rosalie Fry, used in her book “Fly home, Columbina”, which was published by J.M.Dent & Sons in 1960.  It tells the charming story of a young girl, Lucinda, who travels with her parents to Florence, Venice and Assisi, becoming friendly with a young boy, Francesco, his ailing sister Clare, and his homing pigeon called Columbina.
